Steven Seiden

He entered the Tournament with a $500 + $60 buy in and beat Jim Downend from Media, PA who takes 2nd and gets $32,240 in prize money.

On the button Downend moved all in and got a call from Seiden. Downend showed the Q T and Seiden the A 2 . The board came the 7 J K J 5 and we were finished.

John DeFrancis from S. Brunswisk, NJ takes 3rd for $16,120. He showed the Q T and Seiden the K J . Seiden is the 3 to 2 favorite at this juncture. The board came the 3 7 4 7 J and out goes John

Carlos Colon Jr. from East Patchogue, NY in 4th for $14,105. Colon moved all in and is called by Downend. Colon showed the A 8 while Downend was behind with the K Q . The flop changed that when it came the Q 5 Q . The J came on the turn and with the T on the river, we lose Carlos .

Chris Tryba
from Alamagordo, NM in 5th for $12,090. Tryba and DeFrancis go to heads up battle. After the flop of the K J T they end up with all the marbles in the middle. Tryba showed the J 3 and DeFrancis the T 7 . Hmm.....Well the turn brought the 7 giving DeFrancis two pair now and Tryba is in trouble. The river of the 9 truned the two pair into a flush and we lose Chris.

Follow up:

Edward Alberts from Livonia, MI and we lose him in 6th for $10.075. Alberts and Seiden get into a heads up all in confrontation. Seiden showed big slick, the A K and Alberts behind with the K 9 . The board brought no love for Edward.

James Weston from Hopatcong, NJ takes 7th for $8,060. DeFrancis raised to 17K and Weston pushed all in for an additional 36,500. DeFrancis gives it a call and turns over the Q J and Weston ahead with the A 9 ...but not for long. The board came the 8 J 9 giving them both a pair. The3 on the turn didnt help Weston and the T on the river gave DeFrancis a Q high straight and the take down and we lose James .

Leon Brown III from Richmond, VA takes 8th for $6,045. Brown raised on the button to 14K and Seiden moved all in for 31,500. Brown called. He showed the K T and Seiden the K Q . The K 9 9 hit the flop. The 5 on the turn wasnt looking good for Brown. He was looking for a ten or a chop here. The 8 on the river defined his fate. Seiden had him covered by one 500 chip.
