Alan Goehring's status as chip leader did not last very long. David Chiu moved all in with pocket kings after a flop of 4 4 2, and Goehring called with a flush draw (7 5). A king on the turn gave Chiu a full house, and Goehring was drawing dead. Goehring is now down to $450,000 -- still well above average, but nowhere near the chip lead.
The new chip leader is Kevan Casey, who has about $732,000 in chips.
Bill Gazes just doubled up through Mike Carson. After a flop of 6 6 5, Gazes was all in with pocket tens against Carson's 8 7. The 10 on the turn gave Gazes a full house, and Carson was drawing dead. (Deja vu.) Gazes now has about $135,000 in chips.
Raed Abukartomy just made an interesting laydown. With roughly $90,000 in the pot preflop, the other player moved all in for $67,500 more. Abukartomy thought for a long time, and eventually had the clock called on him. He folded -- pocket queens. The shock on the other players face implies that may have been the best hand.
