The poker world is focused on Los Angeles today, where the main event of the L.A. Poker Classic is kicking off at the Commerce. We are expecting a record-setting crowd today, which could create a record prizepool for a regular season World Poker Tour event.


There is still a line at the registration desk, so we won't have official numbers for a while yet.


The players are starting with $20,000 in chips, and the blinds start at $25-$50. Most of the players are seated and ready to go, so it's time to shuffle up and deal!
