Blinds are Up

jason
21st January 2006

Take it up a level. We now have a 10K ante with 30K / 60K blinds at the Borgata Winter Poker Open.

Billy Hill is counting more chips. With the board showing the 9 8 5 , Ravi bets 250K out of the small blind. Billy moves all in. Ravi has to let another one go. Billy is eating away at Ravi's once huge stack.

The look of poker has changed on the final table. Anthony limped from the button, Billy pushed all in from the small blind, Ravi called immediately and Anthony jumped right in there too. We had a 3 way pot with 3 all ins. Drum roll please.

Anthony showed the K K , Ravi the A J and Billy the J 6 . Oopss.....a move gone wrong??? The board ironed out with the 5 7 4 A (causing Ravi to do a dance from hell) and filling in the river, the 2 . Chips are flying everywhere. Ravi is back to about 1.5 million and Anthony is looking at felt. What happened????

Anthony v Ravi

jason
21st January 2006

With two players, and a flop of the A 9Q there was a bet and call. On the turn, the 3 mustered a bet of 125K from Anthony and Ravi jumped over him to 250K. Anthony dropped his quest and Ravi turned over a stone cold buff with the 5 6 off.

Billy Hill stepps up his aggression

jason
21st January 2006

Billy Hill has really stepped up his aggression and it is really paying off. He has managed to grow his stack and make it to 3rd at least. He just reraised Anthony when he raised on the button to 110K. Billy took it up a notch from the small blind to 325K and Anthony let it go.
