Ravinderjilt Anand

Ravinderjilt Anand wins the Borgata Winter Poker Open Event 1 with the first prize of $171,944.

Having played for less than 6 months and finding himself sitting in 1st place, I would say it will be hard to get Ravi away from the tournament circuit. This was his very first tournament ever. Not bad Ravi!

Billy moves all in

OH my goodness gracious. Ravi rasied to 700K and Billy moved all in over the top of Ravi. Ravi couldnt wait to call and slammed his K K down for the show. Billy then slowly turned over his meager T T . The board rolled out the Q 4 A 7 9 and this hand leave Billy Hill naked with only 30K in front of him. He is not lookin' good at the Borgata Winter Poker open.

Blinds are Up

Take it up a level. We now have a 10K ante with 30K / 60K blinds at the Borgata Winter Poker Open.

Billy Hill is counting more chips. With the board showing the 9 8 5 , Ravi bets 250K out of the small blind. Billy moves all in. Ravi has to let another one go. Billy is eating away at Ravi's once huge stack.

The look of poker has changed on the final table. Anthony limped from the button, Billy pushed all in from the small blind, Ravi called immediately and Anthony jumped right in there too. We had a 3 way pot with 3 all ins. Drum roll please.

Anthony showed the K K , Ravi the A J and Billy the J 6 . Oopss.....a move gone wrong??? The board ironed out with the 5 7 4 A (causing Ravi to do a dance from hell) and filling in the river, the 2 . Chips are flying everywhere. Ravi is back to about 1.5 million and Anthony is looking at felt. What happened????
